Recent/ current assignments include:

 

• Development of satellite broadband policy for the European Commission – as part of the BRESAT policy advisory group BRESAT

 

• Member of a UK Space Agency team developing options for deployment of SBAS services across South Africa – Adroit’s role was to assess the costs and benefits of uses/ applications, at a detailed level, in key industry and business sectors in the South African economy (maritime, aviation, road and rail, agriculture, geomatics)…working with the South African Space Agency and reporting into the South African government at a senior level

 

• Part of a team developing the ‘connected farm’ concept that integrates two-way satellite coms with augmented positioning services with earth observation

 

• Including the case for space in review of contribution of digital technology and skills to UK productivity as part of the Chancellor’s 2016 productivity review
